1) РНР: Hypertext Preprocessor - гипертекстовый препроцессор, язык PHPвстраиваемый в HTML-текст открытый многоплатформный серверный язык сценариев (scripting language) для быстрого построения динамических Web-страниц (dynamic page). Первые версии были написаны программистом Расмусом Лердорфом (Rasmus Lerdorf, 1994-1995 гг.). Затем, когда язык стал популярным, к его развитию подключилось большое число программистов из многих стран мира. В итоге РНР превратился в язык общего назначения (general-purpose language), на котором можно программировать достаточно сложные веб-приложения. Синтаксически язык похож на Си. Исполняется под многими ОС - Windows, Linux, Mac OS и различными клонами Unix. Текущая версия - РНР 5 (2003 г.). Его основные конкуренты - языки Perl, Java и ASP.NET. Файл, содержащий РНР-скрипт (PHP script), имеет расширение.php или.phtml2) первоначально эта аббревиатура расшифровывалась как Personal Home Page - "персональная базовая страница"
